PRODUCT OVERVIEW
A stainless steel storage tank fitted with an internal coil. Heating or cooling medium is passed through the coil to exchange heat directly with the product, which suits processes that need faster heating or cooling, or where a jacket alone is not suitable. The coil can be combined with a jacket and insulation. Used in food, dairy, pharmaceutical and chemical production.
STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION
A vertical cylindrical body with a helical coil inside. Product-contact surfaces are SS304 or SS316L. The top is a flanged opening that gives access for coil inspection and cleaning, with a small nozzle on the upper body. The tank stands on three tubular legs; the dished bottom carries a flanged centre outlet. Coil surface area, tube diameter and number of turns are calculated from the customer's required heating or cooling time.
