A CIP system cleans tanks, pipelines, fillers, pumps and heat exchangers without dismantling them. Clean-in-place comes down to four things working together — time, temperature, concentration and mechanical action — and getting any one of them wrong leaves the circuit dirty. Flow rate is the one most often underestimated: high concentration at low velocity will not clean a pipe, but turbulent flow will.
L&B builds CIP systems as complete skid-mounted units: tanks, pumps, valves, pipework and a PLC control panel assembled on a single frame and delivered ready to connect. Multi-tank configurations cover caustic, acid, hot water and recovered solution, in stationary or mobile versions.
Wash cycles run from the integrated control panel rather than by manual valve operation.
Dairies, breweries, beverage, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic plants use them to clean processing lines between production runs.
