Our history
L&B Machinery's manufacturing history dates back to 1995. Over the years since, we have grown into a fully integrated manufacturer that handles design, development, production and after-sales support in-house. Our factory covers more than 10,000 m², with a further 2,000 m² of office space.
What makes us different
We are not a standard equipment manufacturer, and we do not pretend to be one.
General-purpose production lines are built first and sold afterwards — the customer is expected to adapt to the machine. Our approach runs the other way. We build around the specific requirement in front of us, which means custom-engineered equipment, complete line design, and a single point of responsibility from the first drawing to final commissioning.
The problems we exist to solve
Most production problems we are called in to fix are not equipment failures. They are fit failures:
- equipment that does not match the process it was bought for
- machines from different suppliers that will not connect properly with each other
- a line that works on paper but not at production speed
- after-sales support that disappears once the invoice is paid
Solving those four problems is the whole of our business.
Built to requirement, matched to production, cost-effective in operation
Our guiding principle has not changed in nearly thirty years: customize to the requirement, match the equipment to the production process, and reduce cost by making the plant work properly. We do not do template production.
The owner is the technical director
Our owner also serves as our technical director, with more than 20 years in this industry. That means the person who makes the technical decisions is the person you talk to. He develops equipment directly from customer drawings, technical specifications and production process requirements — there is no sales layer between your requirement and the engineering decision.
From a single part to a complete line
Our custom scope runs from a single component all the way up to a complete processing, filling and packaging line. In practice that covers:
- non-standard modifications and upgrades to existing single machines
- bespoke equipment for unusual or proprietary processes
- complete new line systems for new factories or new product launches
Whatever the scale, the objective is the same: equipment with a high degree of fit, high stability and high cleanliness.
Workshop and machining capability
Our workshop is equipped with imported Mazak precision machining equipment, which gives us the dimensional accuracy and repeatability that sanitary components demand — where a few hundredths of a millimetre decides whether a seal holds and whether a surface can be cleaned.
Materials, standards and certification
All product-contact parts are made from 304 or 316L stainless steel. Our equipment is built to ISO, 3A, SMS and DIN industry standards, and the company holds CE, ASME and ISO certifications.
That combination is what allows us to supply into high-precision, high-hygiene production environments, and to take on dedicated customization for special processes, special dimensions and special operating parameters.
